The goal is to get in touch with our deeper selves, notice our thoughts, and use the process of drawing to connect with ourselves and our environment in a new way
In this 6 week workshop we will focus of chromatic strategies while playing with collage and paint.
Each class will start with a warmup, and then focus on translating three dimensional objects to a two-dimensional surface
We will experiment with color, composition, movement, and explore different ways to apply paint to a surface.
Using Ann O’Hanlon’s book, seeing/perception, as inspiration, Cayen and Candis lead discussions of what we see when we look at the artworks of others or our own.
