“We learn nothing from the things we know.” John Cage
Wabi-Sabi focuses on the wisdom of Nature, sensory experience, intuition and an appreciation of the evanescence of life. Wabi Sabi perspectives remind us that all things are imperfect, impermanent, flawed and incomplete. Just like we are!
Bring your iPad, your notepad, your sketch pad, journal, poetry, art supplies (and your lunch).
Whatever your medium, we will draw on Wabi-Sabi perspectives, mindfulness practices and evocative prompts to:
Tap into creativity, hear the whispers of the muse, explore the wisdom of impermanence, step back from perfectionism and critical self-thoughts, and open to new ways of seeing, perceiving, writing, creating and being.
No prior meditation experience necessary.
