Grains of Sand: Artmaking Workshop

Grains of Sand: Artmaking Workshop
Post Screening
Saturday, October 18 | 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
O’Hanlon Center for the Arts | The Loft
This special workshop is offered in place of our regular Saturday Perception Workshop. While all are welcome, we recommend attending the Grains of Sand film preview screening on Friday evening for the fullest experience. [Grains of Sand, Preview Screening]
About the Workshop
Grains of Sand is available as part of a workshop designed to transport the reflective, poetic qualities of the film into our own lives, and conceived for aging audiences and their caregivers.
In post-screening discussion, viewers unpack their emotional and personal take-aways from the film. Our conversation allows questions and reflections to emerge about our lives and aging.
Join us for a post screening collage project – no prior experience required – which brings the community together, engages our creative and visual perception and furthers the conversation, working with metaphors from the film.
