A Jazzy Valentine’s – Deborah Winters in Concert
Enjoy an unforgettable Valentine’s evening filled with soulful jazz and radiant musical artistry. This exclusive concert features the acclaimed Debra Winters, with Ken Cook on piano and John Hoy on guitar—a trio known for their lush, intimate, and beautifully expressive performances.
A lifelong San Francisco Bay Area resident, Debra Winters brings a rich musical lineage to the stage. Raised in a household alive with Big Band jazz and classical dance, her artistry was shaped early on by the sounds of Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, and Woody Herman, as well as the influence of singer-songwriters such as Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, and Rickie Lee Jones. Her background in theater and performance lends a storytelling depth to every song.
Over the years, Winters has performed throughout San Francisco and collaborated with some of the Bay Area’s most respected musicians, including Tony Williams, Bobby McFerrin and the Voicestra, Frank Martin, and Brazilian guitarist Jose Neto. Joined by Ken Cook and John Hoy, she creates an evening of jazz that is warm, nuanced, and deeply engaging—perfect for a Valentine’s celebration.
