3-D Felted Vessels w/ BONNIE HIMBERG

We will be creating 3D Vessels with felt and other materials
Workshop is FULL
$55, $44 OHCA members
plus $10 materials fee paid to instructor day of class
You will be learning the wet felt technique. Using resists to create several layers.
Bring a lunch or snack for a short break.
Also please bring 2 towels and a squirtable water bottle.

About Bonnie:
Fun, fabric, fiber and function have been the core of my artistic journey since I was a child. Raised in Mexico, my first large installation as a teenager was a set of yarn headboards inspired by the Cora Indian technique of yarn appliqué. I spent my summers as an apprentice to a batik artist in Mexico City.
Travels and an M.A. in textiles led me to an exciting teaching career at Fort Mason Art Center in San Francisco; art exhibitions, awards and many trade shows such as the American Craft Council and Rosen throughout the country established my Bonika butlers and benches as a well-known whimsical and functional art form.”
