Discover the beauty of Japanese Stab Binding in this fun, beginner-friendly 2½-hour class at O’Hanlon!
You’ll learn how to transform individual sheets of paper into beautiful, flat-backed books sewn with decorative exposed threads. You’ll create your own templates, trim and prepare pages, work with an awl and waxed linen thread, and learn several traditional sewing patterns.
Best of all, you’ll leave with 2–3 handmade blank books—perfect for sketching, journaling, note-taking, or giving as unique handmade gifts.

About the Facilitator
