We will learn the artist’s tips and tricks\, and ways to stay creatively motivated. The goal is to create beautiful botanical compositions that have your unique style at their heart. \nThe focus will be on capturing the gesture and atmosphere of what we are seeing. \nWe will review color theory\, how to mix paints\,  the nature of the materials\, and how they impact the final results. \nThe goal is to enjoy relaxing into the process of creativity in this natural setting. \nStarting with ways to sketch and draw plain air we will move on to building our compositions in layers of color and form in the studio.  We will work on watercolor paper. It breeds excitement and enjoyment of the process. \nI like the mix of people and their art. \nIt is free and fun. \nI like that I can get into the flow of art and forget the stressful world. \nI look forward to stepping into another time and place. It is a magical experience to visit this special piece of land at the foot of Mt Tam. \nBeing with people who care about art and artists is something I find worthwhile.
