DESCRIPTION:Cyanotype Workshop\nwith Jackie La Lanne and Sarah McNeil\nThursday\, August 29\, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm \nCome discover how to make prints onto different surfaces (paper\, fabric\, and other surfaces) with the use of photos\, plants\, flowers and objects. \nCyanotype is a fun and unique process creating prints of cobalt blue. Used by artists\, botanists and architects since 1872 it is the oldest photography\, discovered before the camera. Cyanotype printing uses the sun’s UV light to create images. No previous experience required.  \nSarah McNeil is a mixed-media artist and yoga teacher based in Mill Valley.  She is a member of the O’Hanlon Board of Directors. \nJackie La Lanne has been teaching art to kids in the Mill Valley Schools and now adults for 40 years.  She is currently on several O’Hanlon Committees and facilitates the Tuesday Perception Workshop and Kids Art Camps among other offerings. \nMembers: $65\nNon-members: $80\nMaterials fee  $30 to facilitators at class\nMax 8 \nPlease register soon!

To experiment and discover.\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Thank you to Ann Fricker and Noni Garner for organizing the return to the LOFT Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. \nThe morning starts with a simple exercise or prompt that informs the day. \n$25 non-members | $20 OHCA members.  \nMaterials provided or bring your own. \n  \nAttendees must be fully vaccinated and Masks required indoors \nWorkshop will be held in the LOFT \nBeginners Expected! \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				LOVING THE SATURDAY WORKSHOP\nThe long-running Visual Perception Workshop is at the heart of O’Hanlon Center. Recently we asked workshop participants for their thoughts. \nI love doing art with friends…and then sharing it! \nI love that it is a drop-in class andI don’t have to sign up ahead of time. \nI like that I don’t have to know how to do art…It’s about our own creativity. \nIt is so much fun. \nI love the creative atmosphere. It breeds excitement and enjoyment of the process. \nI like the mix of people and their art. \nIt is free and fun. \nI like that I can get into the flow of art and forget the stressful world. \nI look forward to stepping into another time and place. It is a magical experience to visit this special piece of land at the foot of Mt Tam. \nBeing with people who care about art and artists is something I find worthwhile. I feel lucky to have discovered this class. It informs me well beyond 4 hours on Saturday. \nThis Saturday workshop serves as a tool to open up all of my senses and I  come alive. \nThe setting is gorgeous and serene. \nI love Saturday class. DESCRIPTION:A mask can instantly transform a person into someone or something else. \nSince humans first walked on earth\, making masks has been one of the earliest forms of art. \nIn almost every culture\, masks have been used for ceremony\, disguise\, protection from evil\, and entertainment \nMasks transcend art\, morphing identities through time. She works with individuals\, couples and groups\, and trained therapists working toward advanced degrees. She enjoys creating and facilitating writing workshops that combine her skills in the creative\, interactive\, therapeutic and meditative arts.
