She received a BFA in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design (2005) and an MFA in Studio Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art (2012). Solange leads workshops in suminagashi\, contemporary gilding\, and a range of printmaking techniques. She also teaches printmaking classes as adjunct faculty at Mendocino College. She has taught at venues throughout the country\, including in the Bay Area at Kala Art Institute\, Berkeley\, Moonlight Press\, Oakland\, and the San Francisco Center for the Book\, San Francisco; the Textile Art Center in Brooklyn\, Form and Concept in Santa Fe\, the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore; and internationally at the Cairo American College in Egypt. Her studio practice is grounded in place-based drawing and printmaking\, with a focus on mark-making\, process\, and materials. She received a BFA in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design (2005) and an MFA in Studio Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art (2012). Solange leads workshops in suminagashi\, contemporary gilding\, and a range of printmaking techniques. She also teaches printmaking classes as adjunct faculty at Mendocino College. She has taught at venues throughout the country\, including in the Bay Area at Kala Art Institute\, Berkeley\, Moonlight Press\, Oakland\, and the San Francisco Center for the Book\, San Francisco; the Textile Art Center in Brooklyn\, Form and Concept in Santa Fe\, the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore; and internationally at the Cairo American College in Egypt.
