SUMMARY:Giacometti's Last Ride - Book event with novelist Bart Schneider and artist Chester Arnold
DESCRIPTION:Novelist Bart Schneider will present his new book Giacometti’s Last Ride\, with artist/collaborator Chester Arnold\, in an hour of readings and images from the novel\, followed by time for a Q&A. This is the second collaboration for Schneider and Arnold\, following their 2022 book of poetry and paintings about food\, The Daily Feast. The two longtime friends get together regularly to discuss the corollaries between art and writing. They are now plotting their next collaboration. Books will be on sale at the event. \nBart Schneider is the author of six novels\, including Blue Bossa\, a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize\, and Secret Love\, a New York Times Notable Book of the Year.
