SUMMARY:50th anniversary Running Fence special installation
DESCRIPTION:In Celebration of the 50th anniversary of Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s Running Fence\, Mill Valley artist Douglas Sandberg will showcase a portion of the original fence on the OHCA property. On display in the Loft will be a few examples of photographs he has taken of five Christo and Jeanne-Claude projects. Books and ephemera for those and other projects will be on view. Douglas will also carry with him the original RUNNING FENCE Environmental Impact Report for visitors to examine. The Mayles Brothers documentary film will run on the O’ Hanlon video display screen in the gallery from 3:00 – 4:00 pm where the current small sculpture show is on view. Please RSVP below as space is limited. \nPoster design by Laura Jiménez-Diecks \nDouglas Sandberg

Her other books of poems are Here in My Body It Feels Crowded\, Quivira\, Lizard Dream\, and White Stucco Black Wing. Her poems are recently published in New American Writing\, Volt\, Massachusetts Review\, and Four Way Review. She was part of the creative writing faculties at UCLA and University of Virginia and\, before that\, was an editor of exhibition catalogues at The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.  She’s won artist fellowships from the MacDowell Colony\, and the Djerassi\, Millay\, Ucross\, and Wurlitzer foundations. \nKaren Kevorkian website \nFor the 2nd hour\, her workshop catchphrase is:\nThe Retell – Ekphrastic writing as rewriting. He is the author of several books of poems\, including Letters to Early Street\, and his work has appeared in more than 100 literary journals worldwide. Albert is also the author of the memoir Beamish Boy\, which was named a “Best Book of 2012” by Kirkus Reviews. His latest nonfiction book\, Writing as a Path to Awakening: A Year to Becoming an Excellent Writer and Living an Awakened Life—based on his popular writing workshops by the same name—was published by Sounds True in 2017.
