I’ve never felt so vulnerable.”  \nWriter/Performer Margery Kreitman\, in her new comedic solo work\, The Fall/Out\, explores what happens after she fractures her hip in a reckless bicycle accident\, has surgery\, and is compelled to hire a home health aide to care for her.  Questions of identity and trust arise and the lines of propriety begin to blur. \nSunday April 27th\, 2025    Tickets $20  – scroll down for ticket link\nDoors open at 1:30 pm Show at 2:00 pm \nMargery Kreitman is a Resident Playwright with 3Girls Theater in San Francisco. She is the author of the full length comedy\, “Please Wait For The Beep” (Cable Car Award nominee)\, produced in San Francisco\, Los Angeles and New York City; “Picture Me” (Jane Chambers’ Playwriting Award)\, produced by Theater Rhino in SF\,  “Digitally Yours” – a sketch comedy revue\, created and performed with Karen Hirst\, produced by Theater Rhino and The New Conservatory Theater. She also wrote the full-length comedy\, “Sax and the Single Dyke”\, co-produced by Sarah Heartburn Productions and Theater Rhinoceros.\nMargery is also a solo performer and monologist.  Her most recent solo piece\, The Fall/Out was performed at 3Girls Theater in 2024. She also performed her comedic solo\, “Retreat“ at 3Girls Theater and The O’Hanlon Center for the Arts in 2023.  Her solo piece\, “Kicking Facebook”\, a finalist in 3Girls Theatre’s New Works Festival was also performed at the Marsh\, SF\, The SF Fringe Festival\, The Phoenix Theater\, The Solo Mio Festival (Douglas Morrison Theater) and the United Solo Festival in NYC. Margery’s solo works include “Home Plates” (‘Dean Goodman Choice Awards)\, “Thirty Years Later”\, “Phenomenal Dread of Intimacy”\, “Mug Shots” “Payday at Pukalani” (A Maui Fringe Festival winner)\, “Bouncing”\, “A Singular Story”\, “The Boot\,” and “Soul Stone\,”  She has performed her work  at many Bay Area venues including The Marsh\, The Exit\, Counter Pulse\, StageWerx\, The New Conservatory Theater\,  The Magic Theater\, Theater Rhino\, Venue 9\, The Garage\, The Plush Room\, The Tides and The Thick House. Her short stories have appeared in various journals including Pisgah\, Rockhurst Review\, Gargoyle\, Dos Passos Review\, and Clackamas. Her work also appears in the book\, Scenes and Monologues for Young Actors\, published by Smith and Kraus. \n\n\nJayne Wenger is a director and dramaturg whose exclusive focus is the development of new works for the theater. Her work is interdisciplinary\, encompassing opera\, dance\, solo performance\, new music and site-specific collaborations. She is the past Artistic Director of the Bay Area Playwrights Foundation and Women’s Ensemble of New York. From 2018 to 2022 she was the Director of Creative Process for the Bay Area Playwrights Festival.

DESCRIPTION:Yoga at OHCA with Sarah McNeil\nFriday\, May 2\, 9:30 – 10:30 am \n8 consecutive Fridays\nMarch 10 through May 16\, 2025 \nTap into the flow of breath and movement\, creating space in mind and body.\nYoga offers a sense of freedom and ease that can fuel your creativity.\nSarah’s class is designed to support anyone seeking a steady\, deeper practice. \nAll levels are welcome provided that you can move from a seated floor position to standing postures. Please bring your own yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing.  Other props such as blocks\, blankets and straps are provided.
