DESCRIPTION:Yoga at OHCA with Sarah McNeil\nFriday\, November 1\, 9:30 – 10:30 am \nThis class will be offered for 6 consecutive Fridays to start.\n(October 11th through November 15th) \nTap into the flow of breath and movement\, creating space in mind and body.\nYoga offers a sense of freedom and ease that can fuel your creativity.\nSarah’s class is designed to support anyone seeking a steady\, deeper practice. \nAll levels are welcome provided that you can move from a seated floor position to standing postures. Please bring your own yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing.  Other props such as blocks\, blankets and straps are provided. The class location at O’Hanlon may shift weekly between the Loft\, Gallery and possibly the outdoor deck. \nWeekly Registration Required due to space limitations. \n$15 members/$20 non-members\n6 people max \n\n\n\n\n\nSarah McNeil is a mixed-media artist and yoga teacher living in Mill Valley. She began dancing at a young age and shifted to yoga over twenty years ago.  After receiving a 500 hour credential with YogaWorks in 2013\, Sarah began teaching as a continuation of her personal practice.  Currently Sarah teaches at the YMCA of San Francisco (where she has been since 2016).\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:MUSIC\, FOOD\, CULTURE & REMEMBRANCE: Sunday\, November 3rd join us from 1-3 pm at OHCA deck altar to view our OFRENDA for Day of the Dead. \nMÚSICA\, COMIDA\, CULTURA Y RECUERDO: El domingo 3 de noviembre\, únete a nosotros de 1 a 3 p. m. en el altar de OHCA para ver nuestra OFRENDA para el Día de los Muertos. Este es nuestro tercer año consecutivo para conmemorar el DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS. Ven y disfruta de un día tradicional del pan de los muertos\, agua fresca\, música\, cultura y recuerdo de nuestros antepasados. \nThis is our 3rd consecutive year to commemorate DAY OF THE DEAD. Come and enjoy some traditional day of the dead bread\, agua fresca\, music\, culture and remembrance of our ancestors.Starting October 22nd please start bringing items you’d like to share to be in our altar. (drop off at the OHCA office during open hours: Tuesday – Saturday 10:30 am to 1:30 pm) Set up will start on October 21st and will stay up through Nov 6th. Bring your items\, place them in our altar!We will gather on Sunday Nov 3rd from 1-3 pm to learn about the meaning of day of the dead\, listen to traditional music\, enjoy light nibbles and an open forum to share about your loved one in celebration of our ancestors.DETAILS: * items for the Ofrenda (altar) will be exposed to the elements so please don’t bring anything precious. Photocopies framed preferred and weather resistant items. BRING your loved ones favorite food or drink to share on the day of the event- It is believed that the souls of our ancestors come by to the feast we put forth at the Ofrenda to partake on the food and the smells of the things they loved while living!
