SUMMARY:Saturday Perception
DESCRIPTION:One of the core principles Ann O’Hanlon stressed was learning how to seeFor over 35 years – Saturdays have been a time to put that into practice. To experiment and discover.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Perception Workshops \nThe Perception Workshops at O’Hanlon welcome all artists and the art-curious. Rather than focusing on formal principles or strict rules\, these workshops emphasize curiosity\, exploration\, and creative play. They spark imagination by encouraging learning through doing\, observation\, acceptance\, and practice. Participants are supported in taking risks\, experimenting freely\, and developing their own visual language in an open\, encouraging environment. \nEach session begins with a simple prompt or exercise. From there\, participants may build on their initial ideas or take them in entirely new directions. At the end\, the group comes together to share discoveries through looking\, reflection\, and discussion\, celebrating the process as much as the result. \nMost materials are provided\, but participants are welcome to bring their own. \nSaturday Perception \nWhen: First & Third Saturday 10 am – 2 pm \nCost: \n\n$30.00 Non-members\n$25.00 Members or Members can purchase a 10x card for $200\n+$5.00 Materials fee\n\nSign Up Today – Enroll in the workshop below \nBeginners Welcome! \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n LOVING THE SATURDAY WORKSHOP\nThe long-running Visual Perception Workshop is at the heart of O’Hanlon Center. Recently we asked workshop participants for their thoughts. \nI love doing art with friends…and then sharing it! \nI love that it is a drop-in class and\nI don’t have to sign up ahead of time. \nI like that I don’t have to know how to do art…\nIt’s about our own creativity. \nIt is so much fun. \nI love the creative atmosphere. It breeds excitement and enjoyment of the process. \nI like the mix of people and their art. \nIt is free and fun. \nI like that I can get into the flow of art and forget the stressful world. \nI look forward to stepping into another time and place. It is a magical experience to visit this special piece of land at the foot of Mt Tam. \nBeing with people who care about art and artists is something I find worthwhile. I feel lucky to have discovered this class. It informs me well beyond 4 hours on Saturday. \nThis Saturday workshop serves as a tool to open up all of my senses and I  come alive. \nThe setting is gorgeous and serene. \nI love Saturday class. I wouldn’t think of missing it. I come every Saturday\, and have for years and years.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Vimala Sangha\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n $25.00 – $30.00Price range: $25.00 through $30.00 \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n \n \n \n Member/Non-Member\n \n Choose an optionNon-memberOHCA MemberClear \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n	\n	\n Saturday Perception Workshop | 2026 quantity\n	\n	\n\n	Add to cart
