Saturday Perception Workshop
December 25 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, repeating until December 25, 2021
Saturday Perception returns to the LOFT every Saturday
One of the core principles Ann O’Hanlon stressed was learning how to see.
For over 35 years Saturdays were a time to put that into practice. To experiment and discover.
Thank you to Ann Fricker for organizing the rerun to the LOFT Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm.
The morning starts with a simple exercise or prompt that informs the day.
$10 drop in for all. Materials provided or bring your own.
Attendees must be fully vaccinated and Masks required indoors
LOVING THE SATURDAY WORKSHOP
The long-running Visual Perception Workshop is at the heart of O’Hanlon Center. Recently we asked workshop participants for their thoughts.
I love doing art with friends…and then sharing it!
I love that it is a drop-in class and
I don’t have to sign up ahead of time.
I like that I don’t have to know how to do art…
It’s about our own creativity.
It is so much fun.
I love the creative atmosphere. It breeds excitement and enjoyment of the process.
I like the mix of people and their art.
It is free and fun.
I like that I can get into the flow of art and forget the stressful world.
I look forward to stepping into another time and place. It is a magical experience to visit this special piece of land at the foot of Mt Tam.
Being with people who care about art and artists is something I find worthwhile. I feel lucky to have discovered this class. It informs me well beyond 4 hours on Saturday.
This Saturday workshop serves as a tool to open up all of my senses and I come alive.
The setting is gorgeous and serene.
I love Saturday class. I wouldn’t think of missing it. I come every Saturday, and have for years and years.
