For the Love of Drawing II
October 5, 2016 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Wednesday, repeating until November 16, 2016
TWO FIVE-WEEK WEDNESDAY SESSIONS
CAROLYN FEE
When you draw, you are touching the world in an original way. Awaken to the extraordinary and transient nature of form. Experience relaxed, alert, awareness and the pleasurable, almost mystical activation of the mind. Drawing is a curious process, so intertwined with seeing that the two can hardly be separated. It is a mode of perception, and a shift in perception enables anyone to draw. Beginners welcome.
Materials list: Drawing board, 2B and 6B pencils (2 of each), Vine charcoal, Pencil sharpener, Kneaded eraser and Staedtler Mars plastic eraser, Strathmore drawing paper / 14″x17″ pad (or larger if you prefer)
If you have any questions please send Carolyn an email at carolynfee@comcast.net

About Carolyn:
Carolyn Fee is an artist, educator, and art consultant. She is the founder and teacher of For the Love of Drawing, a course dedicated to deepening the drawing experience. She has been teaching drawing for fifteen years.
“Carolyn’s drawing instruction has opened me to the subtleties of perception and a deeper sensitivity to the world around me. There is a zone, this right brained awareness, that harbors such depth and beauty.
Carolyn understands how to help you access this part of yourself as a person and an artist. Learning to draw and to see with sensitivity has enhanced my work in other mediums as well.”
– Joyce Feeney, student and OHCA member
