We will be making a single, or double, comic book page. In the week long class starting July 13, you can sign up to build a mini multi page comic book.

About the Facilitator Christie Crapeticio “EmoWeasel”
I am a San Francisco-based illustrator. I create web comics, dark illustrations, pattern designs, and cartoons. I studied at the Academy of Art University for six years. I majored in comics and minored in children’s book illustration.

When I’m working on a piece I usually work in pen and ink. I believe the texture of the pen adds more to the story than color can. Most of my work is done black and white, but when I do use color it is usually digital over the pen and ink. I sometimes dabble in other mediums such as oil paints, color pencils, and gouache paints.
