FALL ARTS and WABI SABI

School is back in session and the summer is winding down.  We have some wonderful Fall Arts programs. planned   First stop, Phyllis Thelen’s solo show in the Gallery the month of September.  the opening is Sept 3. This show is a creative response to climate change.   All sales from the show benefit the Center!  Thank you Phyllis!

On Sept 8 we are hosting our first ever Singer Songwriter Sunday Salon Special.  Two very talented duos will play original music and Stonefox will inspire us with his thoughts on CREATIVITY.

Find our info table at the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival Sept 14 and 15 in Old Mill Park.  Member volunteers may be needed. Call the office 415.388.4331 if you’d like to help.

The fall at OHCA means WABI SABI – Our 20th anniversary gallery show will open in October.  Submit to the show on Sept 27 or 28.  Rhonda Dubin’s photo announces the show.

Fall is a time to try something new – We are offering Ceramics now in Koya and  Drawing in the Loft.  Make sure you are getting our weekly update via email!

Attend a Workshop

Programs offered at O’Hanlon emphasize the creative process and the continued pursuit of meaning and authenticity through observation, exploration, and experimentation.

Our programs are  designed to allow your own perceptions to inspire your art.

Visit our Galleries

The O’Hanlon Gallery features juried group shows which change monthly, showcasing a wide range of local artists.

The Loft Gallery shows work by individual O’Hanlon members and small groups.

Admission to our galleries is always free!

Submit your Artwork

Submissions to our monthly Gallery shows are open to Members and non-Members alike.

Exhibits are juried by SF Bay Area gallery owners and prominent local artists.

Become a Member

When you become a member, you join a community of artists and art enthusiasts who gather in our beautiful setting to dialogue and share their work, ideas and inspiration.

Memberships are available for individuals and households, and start at just $95/year.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit, we depend on donations large and small from supportive individuals and businesses.

Our beautiful new street sign above was made possible by a donation from one of our members!

Volunteer

This organization thrives with active participation from so many people!

Volunteer opportunities include: assisting with art intake days, setting up for receptions or special events, planting succulents in our sculpture gardens, participating in committees and more.

O’Hanlon Center grounds are open to the public from 9 am-9 pm. We’re in a residential area, so please be conscious of our neighbors!

We’re located 1 mile out of downtown Mill Valley, and 1/2 mile past the Mill Valley Library on Throckmorton Ave.

O’Hanlon Gallery Hours

Tuesday to Saturday
10:00 am – 2:00 pm
  Last Friday of each month gallery opens at 11 a.m.

Online Gallery open 24/7

The Loft Gallery is generally open similar hours, but workshops are also held in the space. Please call ahead to verify access to the Loft. (415) 388-4331
