Personal Creativity Workshop
CAYEN ROBERTSON
Saturdays, August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; September 6, 13, 20, 27.
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
$30, $24 OHCA members. Drop-ins & beginners welcome.

This weekly workshop encourages the practice of creativity for artists and non-artists alike. Cayen helps each individual initiate and facilitate the dialogue between artist and the art which can emerge. You will find your medium and your personal visual language. You will surprise and delight yourself.

Cayen Robertson is an artist and O’Hanlon Center workshop facilitator who studied with Ann O’Hanlon from 1975 to 1990. She celebrated her 20th year of teaching here in May 2004. She is a working painter, sculptor and assemblage artist who has taught Visual Perception in Marin County schools and traveled extensively in Europe, studying art in private and public collections.

Monoprinting

This monthly workshop, featuring instruction in techniques as well as the opportunity to explore and experiment on your own, introduces participants to many different ways of doing monoprinting, a simple yet beautiful and variable form of printing on paper.

Karen Cox was introduced to monoprinting 30 years ago by Ann O’Hanlon (founder of Sight & Insight, now O’Hanlon Center for the Arts) and has been working in the medium ever since. She is an artist who lives in Westley, California, with her husband Bill, a farmer.


Photo Forum
Members free, non-members donation.
These interactive gatherings meet once a month for two hours to share photographs, take field trips and discuss perception and creativity with the camera (digital or film). For scheduling information, call 415.388.4331.

Photo Forum II
Members free, non-members donation.
These interactive sessions meet monthly in evenings for two hours to share photographs, informally critique each other’s works, and discuss creative processes. Photo Forum II is geared toward photographers learning to expand their visual eye. Digital or film users welcome. For scheduling, call 415.388.4331.
