Children thrive creatively at O'Hanlon Center's art programs.

Family and Children's Classes

 

Art of World Cultures for Children Ages 6 to 12

ZOE HARRIS

Every Wednesday.

2:30 to 3:30 OR 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Each session: $20, $15 OHCA Family* members.

In these fun and unique classes, children will learn about different creative traditions from cultures around the world.  Sessions will incorporate recycled materials, found and natural objects, paint, special papers, ink and more!  RSVP the Friday prior to each session.

 

Zoe Harris has been teaching art and culture in Marin and the Bay Area for over thirty years.  She has worked in both public and private elementary and middle schools.  In addition, she has also taught in museums, libraries and community centers. Some of the Marin institutions she has worked in include Bay Area Discovery Museum,  Global Education of Marin, Marin County Office of Education; Willowcreek, Gallinas, Coleman, Olive,Lagunitas, Bacich, and Bahia Vista Schools, Ross Valley Summer School, Canal Ministry and Pickleweed Community Center Kids Club.

 

Springtime Fun: Family Art Class

Sunday, March 18.

10 to 12 p.m.

$35 per child; $30 OHCA Family* members.

Family class for all toddlers and preschoolers ages 2-5, their Papas, Mamas, Grandpas, and Grandmas!  Inventive, messy art making, celebrating the creative aliveness that is toddlerhood!  Connect to your inner child's spirit as you join your little one in art projects honoring the earth and spring time! We will work inside and outside. Projects are inspired by cultures from around the world. An introduction will be given to safe and environmentally friendly art materials at the end of class for use at home. Children younger than 3 need to be accompanied by an adult. Limited to 10 families.  RSVP by March 15.
